RVPs Johnston and Havard visit RCMP E Division HQ

On March 9, 2026, REVP Jamey Mills, USJE RVPs Zoe Johnston and Kirsty Havard, along with PSAC Regional Representative Alex Vital Stuit, acting President of Local 20011 Tracy Zylyk and Mike Reeves from CSC, joined 30 public service employees and civilian members for an Information Gathering Lunch and Learn, at the RCMP E Division Headquarters in Surrey, British Columbia.

USJE members participate in PSAC-Atlantic school

More than 50 union members from across Atlantic Canada gathered in Halifax this past weekend for the PSAC 2026 Atlantic Union School — a weekend focused on strengthening solidarity and “Fighting for Justice.” Workshops included: Lobbying, Why Tyranny, Fascism and Authoritarianism are Union Issues, and Engaging our Base: Using Communications to Build our Movement.

Information for Civilian Members

USJE members working at the RCMP have voted in favour of ratifying their tentative agreement. A nationwide ratification vote took place May 20-29. Around 600 civilian members of the RCMP will now join the over 120,000 members under Treasury Board. This allows members to benefit from even greater bargaining power at the negotiation table.
